Use the Configuration node to customize how Aperi Storage Manager operates in your environment.

TPC Role-to-Group Mappings

assign roles to anyone who will be using the application. You can use the Role-to-Group Mapping page to map roles, such as Tape Operator or Fabric Administrator, to user groups that you create using the available tools for the operating system for a particular machine. For example, on a Windows machine you can create user groups using the Administrative Tools control panel.

Alert Disposition

specify control information that is used to generate alerts when a corresponding event is discovered.

Log File Retention

specify the number of runs and how far back to maintain the log files generated by the application.

Manual NAS Server Entry

manually enter information about the NetWare and Network Attached Storage (NAS) servers that you want to monitor within your environment.After you enter information about NAS servers.

view a list of the NAS filers whose information was manually entered into the product

delete NAS filers whose information was manually entered into the product

Manage Element Manager

manage the element managers that are provided with the storage devices in your enterprise. Element managers are programs that allow you to configure and maintain your storage devices.

History Aggregator

control how data aggregation for statistical reporting purposes is handled.

Resource History Retention specify how far back to keep a history of the statistical elements collected by the application.

Removed Resource Retention specify how long to keep information in the repository that is related to an entity that has been removed from the system and can no longer be found.
