Use this window to specify control information that is used to generate alerts when a corresponding event is discovered. You can specify default configuration settings for both SNMP and email-directed alerts.
There are two sets of SNMP destination prompts. You must provide at least one destination. Both SNMP Destination 1 and SNMP Destination 2 sections display the following fields:

Community |
Specify the name of the SNMP community for sending SNMP traps. |

Specify the name of the Host machine within your environment that you have configured to receive SNMP traps. |

Port |
Specify the Port number to use when sending SNMP traps. If this field is left blank, the application will use standard port 162 and Public, respectively. |

Specify the name of the mail server to use within your environment. |

Mail Port |
Specify the port number for the outgoing mail (SMTP) server. This port number is usually 25. |

Default Domain |
Specify the default domain to use for sending email (for example, your_company_name.com). |

Specify the email address to use if an email is undeliverable. |

Reply To |
Specify the email address where a reply is sent if a user replies to an email triggered by an alert. Note: We recommend you define the email address of the Aperi Storage Manager administrator in this field. |
