Configuration - Manual NAS Entry

Use this window to:

manually enter information about the Network Attached Storage (NAS) filers that you want to monitor within your environment.
view a list of the NAS filers whose information was manually entered into the product
delete NAS filers whose information was manually entered into the product

You can manually set up individual NAS filers for monitoring using this window, or you can use an "discovery" method for automatically adding multiple servers at the same time.

Button Descriptions

Add NAS Server. Click this button to manually enter information about the NAS filers that you want to monitor on the Add NAS Server window.
Delete. Highlight rows that represent the servers you want to delete and click this button. Keep in mind that when you delete a server from this window, all information about that server will be removed from the repository.

Column Descriptions

Column Name	Description
Server	Displays the name of the NAS filer.
Network Name	Displays the network name of the NAS filer. This name is typically the name assigned to the server as an alias by your system or IT administrator.
OS Type	Displays the operating system of the machine that contains the agent assigned to monitoring the NAS filer.
Domain or NDS Tree	Displays the domain of a NAS filer.
