Use this window to manually provide a list of Service Location Protocol (SLP) Directory Agents (DAs) for Aperi Storage Manager to use. Any DAs that you add through this window will be in addition to the DAs that were automatically discovered by the CIMOM discovery job.

Click this button to manually add a DA whose IP address or host name you entered in the text box. Any DAs that you add are displayed in the list box. |

Click this button to remove a selected DA from the list box. Removing a DA does not remove any information from the repository that was discovered via that DA; although future discoveries will no longer make use of this DA and therefore some discovered items might be marked as missing. |

Displays the IP addresses of the SLP DAs that have been manually configured. This list does not show DAs that were automatically discovered by the CIMOM discovery job. |

Scan local subnet |
Check this box to enable CIMOM discovery for the local subnet. This option is checked by default. An error will display and indicate that no CIMOM discovery will be performed if you uncheck this field and have not entered DAs. |
