Services - Device Server

Use the options in the Services > Device Server node to view and control the various services that are associated with the Device server. When you expand the Device Server node, nodes appear which represent the running services within the server. Select any of the following nodes to display information about a service:

• Device Server
• Event
• Control
• Log
• Configuration
• Discovery
• Message
• Disk Monitor

Viewing Service Status

Each of the nodes includes a visual indicator of the service status beside it, where:

- represents an active session that is operating normally

- represents a session that is currently not active

Viewing Service Logs

You can view the log for a service by right-clicking its node in the function tree and selecting View Log. The log for the service will appear in the content pane.
