Field Descriptions

Field Name

Description

Available

Displays nodes that can be expanded for you to select the computers (including virtual machines), computer groups, clusters, fabric groups, fabrics, tape library groups, tape libraries, storage subsystem groups, and storage subsystems that you want to include in the probe job. The resources that are available for selection were discovered by a discovery.

You can include individual resources or resource groups that have been predefined using the Groups facility.

Note: A cluster name is displayed next to individual computers that are members of an MSCS cluster. Virtual servers are identified with a special icon. Clusters displayed in the Available field cannot be expanded to show member nodes. You can move a cluster to the Current Selections field to view and, if necessary, exclude member nodes.
