Groups - Filesystem window

Use this window to add or edit a filesystem group.

Field Descriptions

Creator

Displays the creator of the group.

Name

Displays the name of the group you are editing.

Description

Specify a description for the group you are editing.

Group By Cluster

This check box will be selectable if any agent machines belong to an MSCS cluster. When the check box is not selected, the Available pane displays a cluster name next to any clustered computers and virtual servers. When the check box is selected, clustered computers and virtual servers are displayed in their cluster groups. Virtual servers are identified with a special icon, along with the name of the current host node.

Note: Only individual filesystems can be selected for group membership. Computers and clusters cannot be selected.

Available

Displays what filesystems are available for selection to include in the group.

Current Selections

Displays what filesystems have been selected for the group.

To select a computer:

  1. Highlight the desired filesystem in the Available list box.
  2. Click [Right arrow button]. The filesystem you selected appears in the Current Selections list box.

To remove or unselect a computer:

  1. Highlight the filesystem you want to remove in the Current Selections list box.
  2. Click [Left arrow button]. This will remove the filesystem you selected from the Current Selections list box and move it to the Available list box.
