Create Script - Computers window

Use this window to select the computers and computer groups against which to run a script. You can select individual computers, as well as computer groups that you have previously defined using the Groups facility.

Displays the computer and computer groups that are still available for selection.

Current Selections

Displays the computers and computer groups that have been selected for the job.

To select computer or computer group:

  1. Highlight the desired computer and computer groups in the Available list box.
  2. Click Right arrow button]. The objects you selected appear in the Current Selections list box.

To remove or unselect computers and computer groups from the Current Selections list box:

  1. Highlight the objects you want to remove in the Current Selections list box.
  2. Click [Left arrow button]. This will remove the computers or computer groups from the Current Selections list box and move them to the Available list box.

To exclude one or more users from a selected computer group:

If you want to exclude specific computers in a group that you included in a job, perform the following steps.

  1. Expand the computer group node in the Current Selections box that contains the computers you want to exclude.
  2. Right-click on the computers that you want to exclude. A pop-up menu appears.
  3. Select Exclude. This will create an Excludes section in the Current Selections list box that displays the names of the computers that you have chosen to exclude from the job.
