<storage_subsystem> - <array_site> - Ranks

The window shows general information about a Rank that is associated with an array site:

name of a Rank associated with an Array Site

Storage Subsystem

name of a storage subsystem to which a Rank belongs

Type

this column indicates whether a Rank is RAID5 or RAID10. The type of a Rank is based on the formatting of the Array that was used to form it.

Track Format

setup of the disk track (for example: Fixed Block, Count Key Data)

From Array Site(s)

name of the Array Site to which the Rank is associated. Multiple names are separated by a ",".

Size

storage size of the Rank (measured in gigabytes)

Status

this column indicates the status of a rank ("Normal", "Available", "Formatting", etc.)

From Array(s)

name of the array that a Rank is using. Multiple names are separated by a ",".

Rank Group

this column indicates either "Rank Group 0" or "Rank Group 1"
