Return maximum of __ rows per computer |
Use this field to control how many rows are generated in the report. This will allow you to control the size of the report that is generated. In the example of Obsolete File reporting, you can enter 10 in the Return maximum of __ rows per computer field and to limit the number of rows in the report to only 10 Obsolete Files per computer. If you have set up scans to collect many more row than that per computer, this is an effective and efficient way to control the size of the generated report. |

Relate Computers to: (for Storage Subsystem reports only) |
Use this field to generate a report that shows the relationships between the computer and storage subsystems, LUNs, or Disks.

Relate Filesystems/Logical Volumes to: |
Use this field to generate a report that shows the relationships between the filesystems/logical volumes and storage subsystems, LUNs, or Disks.

Relate Storage Subsystems to: |
Use this field to generate a report that shows the relationships between a storage subsystem and the computers and logical volumes using that storage subsystems.

Use this field to generate a report that shows the relationships between a disk and the computers and logical volumes using that disk.

Object Selection |

Use this section to determine the objects (computers, filesystems, logical volumes, etc.) upon which you want to report. When the Selection page is initially displayed, all objects in the list are pre-selected for your convenience. If you would like to generate the report for all the objects that have been selected for you, then click Generate Report. You can use the Select All and Clear All buttons to quickly select and unselect all of the objects in the list. To select/deselect individual rows in the object selection list, simply click on the checkbox at the left of the object row in the selection list. When there is a check mark in the checkbox, then the object has been selected for inclusion in the report. If you are generating a Network Wide report, then the Selection page will not have an Object Selection section, because you have chosen to generate the report network wide, for all objects. In this case, the Selection tab will simply contain a Report Filter Specifications section, allowing you to alter the selection of the Profile used to generate the report. If you wish to proceed with the profile that is already selected in the Profile box, simply click Generate Report. |
