Use this page to make host-port assignments. You can assign host
ports to a volume or virtual disk; you also can unassign host ports from a
volume or virtual disk.
- Available ports
- List of all ports defined on the storage subsystem or SAN Volume Controller cluster.
The ports are identified using the following convention:
<Worldwide port name> (<host name>)
In
addition, if Fabric Manager is installed,
this list also contains any additional host ports that are visible on connected
fabrics.
- Selected ports
- List of the ports that are assigned
to the volume or virtual disk.

- In the Available ports list, select a host port and click >> to
assign it to the volume or virtual disk.
- <<
- In the Selected ports list, select a host port and click << to
remove it from the list of host ports assigned to the volume or virtual disk.
