Virtual Disks page

Use this page to manage and configure virtual disks.

Create
Click to create a virtual disk using the Create Virtual Disk wizard.
Assign Host Ports
Click to assign host ports to the virtual disk using the Assign Host Ports wizard.
Delete
Click to delete a virtual disk.
Filter by MDisk group
Click and select the MDisk group from the list; then, click Go.
Filter by host port
Click and select the host port from the list; then, click Go.

Virtual Disk table

This table contains information about the virtual disks. To populate the table with information, select a filtering option; then, click Go. To view additional details about a virtual disk, click the row; then, click  the Details icon. The Virtual-Disk Details page is displayed.
Name
Name of the virtual disk.
I/O Group
Name of the I/O group associated with the virtual disk.
Status
Status of the virtual disk:
  • Offline
  • Online
  • Degraded
MDisk Group Name
Name of the managed-disk group to which the virtual disk belongs.
Capacity (MB)
Capacity of the virtual disk in MB. This value is rounded to 0.1 MB.
Type
Type of virtual disk:
  • Image
  • Sequential
  • Striped
FlashCopy Name
Name of the FlashCopy mapping to which the virtual disk belongs.
MM Name
Name of the Metro Mirror relationship to which the virtual disk belongs.
