Fabric/Switch/Endpoint Device selection lists

Use these selection lists for Fabric, Switch, or Endpoint Device to specify the entities to include in the alert you are creating. Depending on the type of alert you are working with, you will specify fabrics, switches, or endpoint devices in the selection list.

Creator

Displays the creator of the alert job.

Name

Displays the name of the alert job you are editing. The default is unnamed. When you save the alert job, you will be prompted for a new name.

Description

Specify a description for the alert job you are editing.

Enabled

Select this option to enable the alert job you have created.

Working with selection lists

To select an item to be included in the Selected list box on the right side of the page:

  1. Highlight the desired item in the Available list box on the left side of the page.
  2. Click [Right arrow button]. The item you selected appears in the Selected list box.

To remove or unselect an item from the Selected list box:

  1. In the Selected list box, highlight the item you want to remove.
  2. Click [Left arrow button]. This will remove the item you selected from the Selected list box and move it to the Available list box.
