Tape Manager overview

IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center v3.1 includes support for tape libraries. Clicking on the Tape Manager node in the navigation tree displays expands the tree to show the various capabilities of the tape library support.

Using Tape Manager, you can:

• view details about tape libraries in your enterprise, such as drives, cartridges, media changers, and I/O ports
• create tape library groups to help you manage your tape libraries
• launch the element manager for a specified tape library
