Locate

Use Locate to search for entities in the topology. This is useful when the topology view is very large and contains many entities. You can search by entity name or other keyword, such as a table column value. For example, you can search for a particular host name or operating system type.

There are two ways to access the Locate function:

Right-click an entity in the topology and click Locate in the context menu. This displays the Locate window.
Enter a search string in the Locate field at the right of the tabular view.

Both Locate methods will search the topology for the entity you specify. When the entity is found, it will be displayed in both the topology and tabular views.

Locate window - Field Descriptions

Field Name	Description
Locate	The entity or keyword that you want to locate.
Class	The class of the entity you are searching for. Specifying the entity class will narrow the search. For example, you could specify a class of computer and only entities within that class will be searched.
