Global Settings window

Use the Global Settings window to specify the settings that you want to be active in the topology and tabular views. You can specify the following settings:

the type of overlays to display
the type of filtering to perform
whether connections between topology objects should be displayed
whether the Zone tab should display in the tabular view

Field Descriptions

Field Name	Description
Active Overlays	The overlays associated with topology objects. Overlays can indicate health and performance status of objects, groups, and connections.
Filter	The filter that is active in the topology and tabular displays. Click the Hide normal entities checkbox to filter out all connections that have a health status of Normal. This can greatly reduce the number of connections that are shown in the topology.
Connection Drawing	Click the Show connections checkbox to show status connections in the topology display.
Zones	Click the Show zone tab checkbox to show the Zone tab in the tabular display. This feature is turned off by default.
