Topology - L0:Computers View
The L0:Computers view displays all known computer groups
in your environment.
Topology View
The topology view contains a graphical representation of the computer groups
in your environment.
You can do the following in the topology view:
- Examine the spatial rendering of objects and their relationship to each other
in your environment and orient yourself for the tasks.
- If your environment contains a large number of objects, the topology view might not
be able to display all the objects in the same view. You can pan
to different areas of the topology by using the minimap, which contains miniature
representations of the objects in your environment.
- Each computer group contains icons that represent the computers within that
computer group. You can click the plus sign (+) in the computer group to reveal all
the computers in the group. You can click the minus sign (-) in the computer group
to hide the computers in the group.
- To display a computer group in context with its related environmental entities such as
volumes and switches, double-click a computer group. This opens the context level view of the
computer group (L1:Computers view).
- To display a detailed view of a computer, double-click a computer. This opens the
detail level view of the selected computer (L2:Computers view).
- To perform actions on an object, right-click an object and select an item from the
actions menu.
Tabular View
The tabular view below the topology view contains detailed information about the
computers in your environment.
Attributes of the objects in the topology view are organized into tabs in the tabular
view. Click an item in the following list to display
