Topology - L0:Other View
The L0:Other view displays all objects in your environment other than
computers, switches, subsystems, and tape libraries.
Topology View
The topology view contains a graphical representation of all objects other than
computers, switches, subsystems, and tape libraries. Objects are put in groups named "Other".
You can do the following in the topology view:
- Examine the spatial rendering of objects and their relationship to each other
in your environment and orient yourself for the tasks.
- If your environment contains a large number of objects, the topology view might not
be able to display all the objects in the same view. You can pan
to different areas of the topology by using the minimap, which contains miniature
representations of the objects in your environment.
- Each group contains icons that represent the objects within that
group. You can click the plus sign (+) in the group to reveal all
the objects in the group. You can click the minus sign (-) in the group
to hide the objects in the group.
- To display a group in context with its related environmental entities such as
switches and zones, double-click the Other group. This opens the context level view of the
Other group (L1:Other view).
- To display a detailed view of an object, double-click the object. This opens the
detail level view of the selected object (L2:Other view).
- To perform actions on an object, right-click an object and select an item from the
actions menu.
Tabular View
The tabular view below the topology view contains detailed information about the
objects in your environment other than
computers, switches, subsystems, and tape libraries.
Attributes of the objects in the topology view are organized into tabs in the tabular
view. Click an item in the following list to display
information about a tab:
