Topology - L2:Other View
The L2:Other view displays information about an object other than
computers, switches, subsystems, and tape libraries and all known and related
environmental objects for that object, such as switches, FCPorts, and Zones.
Topology View
The topology view contains a graphical representation of an object other than
computers, switches, subsystems, and tape libraries and
related environmental objects.
You can do the following in the topology view:
- Examine the spatial rendering of objects and their relationship to each other
in your environment and orient yourself for the tasks.
- If your environment contains a large number of objects, the topology view might not
be able to display all the objects in the same view. You can pan
to different areas of the topology by using the minimap, which contains miniature
representations of the objects in your environment.
- Expand a group of objects by clicking the plus sign (+) in
the group to reveal all objects in the group. Collapse a group by clicking the
minus sign (-) to hide the objects in the group.
- To display a detailed view of an individual object in the topology, double-click
the object.
- To perform actions on an object, right-click an object and select an item from the
actions menu.
Tabular View
The tabular view below the topology view contains detailed information about
an object other than computers, switches, subsystems, and tape libraries and information
about related environmental objects.
Attributes of the objects in the topology view are organized into tabs in the tabular
view. Click an item in the following list to display
information about a tab:
