Minimap overview

The minimap is a small window that is initially located in the upper right corner of any topology view. It provides a miniature overview representation of the current topology view, and uses color to denote groupings of topology objects.

Because topologies can become very large and complex, with many objects and relationships, the minimap shows a compact, high-level view of the currently viewed topology. Clicking on the minimap displays a multi-directional cursor that allows you to move the focus of the current topology view in any direction. As you move the cursor around in the minimap, you will see the actual topology view change to reflects the navigational focus of the minimap. This makes navigating around complex topologies much faster and easier.

The minimap also uses color to indicate the health of the groupings is shows.

The minimap can also be moved and resized.
