Topology - Subsystem tab

The Subsystem tab contains detailed information about any storage subsystems in the current topology view.

Field Descriptions

Field Name

Action

Select an action to perform on the selected item the table. You can perform different actions depending on what is selected in the table.

Locate

Type some text in the field, and click Go to search for the text in the table view. You can also click the down arrow to select search criteria that you previously used.

Button Description

Go
Click this button to start searching the table for the text that you typed in the Locate field.

Column Name

Description

Located (minimized by default)

Indicates whether a subsystem or subsystem group is located as a result of a search.

Pinned (minimized by default)

Indicates whether the subsystem or subsystem group is pinned for future reference or quick access.

Health (minimized by default)

Indicates the health status of the subsystem or subsystem group.

Group

The name of the subsystem group.

Label

The identifying label of the subsystem.

Operational Status

Indicates the operational status of the subsystem.

WWN

The World Wide Node identifier for the subsystem.

Vendor

The vendor name of the subsystem.

Model

The model of the subsystem.

Type

The subsystem type

Serial #

The serial number of the subsystem

Allocated Capacity (GB)

The total capacity in GB formatted in volumes and assigned to hosts.

Available Capacity (GB)

The total capacity in GB formatted in volumes and not assigned to hosts.

Backend Capacity (GB)

The backend capacity in GB

Firmware Version

Firmware version

Cache Size (KB)

Cache capacity in KB

IP Address

IP Address

Element Manager

Element manager name
