Exporting SML model units into an SML-IF document

The export operation creates an SML-IF document from a repository.

The export operation is integrated with the Eclipse export wizard under the Service Modeling Language category.

An SML-IF document can be formed by selecting export from the context menu of one or more resources that appears under a project.

The following export procedure is based on already having an SML document. Use the export wizard to create an SML-IF document.

  1. Start the Export wizard.
  2. Select the folders or model units that are to be included in the interchange document.
  3. Right-click on the items and click Export.

    The step opens the Export Select window.

  4. Expand the Service Modeling Language category in the Export Select window.
  5. Click Interchange Format.
  6. Click Next.

    This step opens the Export Interchange Format window.

  7. Select the resources to export.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Specify aliases, if desired, for document and SML-IF identity information.
  10. Click the Detected Document.
  11. Click Add, enter the new aliases name in the pop-up window.
  12. Add an Aliases to a Detected Document.
  13. Add identify information: Enter name, display name, description, and a base URI.
  14. Click Next.

    Modify the content to bind a rule to a document.

  15. Click Add.
  16. Click Documents dropdown arrow to select document.
  17. Click Alias dropdown arrow to select alias for the selected document dropdown arrow to select alias for the selected document.
  18. Click Rule dropdown arrow to bind the document to an existing rule.
  19. Click Finish.
