Managing COSMOS Components

COSMOS consists of the following components.

Management Domain

This component is used to boot the COSMOS system.

Data Broker

Web services that share data self-register using this component.

Data Adapter

This product-specific component is required by each product in order to share data.

Data Manager

This component hosts one or more data adapters and handles communication with the COSMOS environment.

Client APIs and GUIs

These components are used to visualize or access data from multiple applications.
