getMessage

public static String getMessage(org.eclipse.emf.common.util.Diagnostic diagnostic)

Extract the message to display from a single Diagnostic. If the severity of the Diagnostic is Diagnostic.OK then the message is empty.

Parameters:

diagnostic - The Diagnostic to get the message for

Returns:

The message or an empty string if the severity of the Diagnostic is ok.

getMessage

public static String getMessage(Collection<org.eclipse.emf.common.util.Diagnostic> diagnostics)

Extract the message to display from a collection of Diagnostics. If the severity of the Diagnostic is Diagnostic.OK then it is skipped.

Parameters:

diagnostics - The Collection of Diagnostics to get the message for

Returns:

The compound message for all Diagnostics
