Explore the User Interface: Browse While Authoring

The goal of this exercise is to browse some library content while in the authoring perspective.

  1. Switch to the library view by using the Window menu in the main toolbar, then select Show view, then select Library.

  2. In the Library panel, expand the openup_basic plug-in, then expand Method Content, then expand Content Packages, then expand solution, then expand architecture, then Roles.

  3. Double-click on the sln_architect role icon. role icon Detailed information about this element will appear in the right-hand panel.

  4. Use the Preview tab at the bottom of the role window to view the page describing that role and its relationships to other method elements. Use the other tabs to see the information presented when authoring the method content and relationships for a role.

  5. Repeat Step 3 to preview pages under Tasks, Work Products, and Guidance.
