Creating a Capability Pattern With ClearCase

Use this procedure to create a capability pattern or delivery processes under version control with Rational ClearCase.
  1. In the library view panel, right-click on the Capability Patterns Node and select New then select Capability Pattern.
  2. You will be prompted to check out plugin.xmi. Click Apply.
  3. Enter the name and default configuration in the New Process Component. Click OK.
  4. You will be prompted to check out the selected configuration. Click Apply.
  5. Select Yes or No to the Switch configuration Dialog.
  6. You will be prompted to Add Resources to Source Control. Click Apply.
  7. Switch to the Resource perspective and check-in all changed files.
