This term describes the style used for naming elements in the Method Composer that are used internally within the
composer. An internal name may become the actual file name of the element, so the name needs to be valid for any
operating system in any language. This name is not published in the final web site. However, it does become part of the
URL for pages in the published web site. Therefore, it should conform to the internal name standards so that the
published web site can be viewed using many different operating systems. Internal names are not localized for different
languages.
The recommended style is all lower case, with words separated by underscores. Lower case alphanumeric,
English language characters, underscore, dash, and period are allowed. No special characters. Spaces
are not allowed. Try to keep names to 36 characters or less using abbreviations when necessary to keep the names to a
reasonable length.
Example: prepare_test_plan
