• Practice Configurations in the UMF

Figure 1 is an example of a Publishable configuration for a Practice Configuration. On the left side, you can see the contents of the Plug-in and Package Selection tab, showing the selection of the applicable Practice plug-ins, the Process plug-in that includes the cross-practice processes and the Publish plug-in that includes the configuration-specific elements.

Figure 2 provides a closer look at the Process plug-in for the Practice Configuration shown in Figure 1. Note the cross-practice processes (capability patterns and a delivery process) that are included in the navigation views of the Practice Configuration shown in Figure 1.

Figure 3 provides a closer look at the Publish plug-in for the Practice Configuration shown in Figure 1. Note the configuration-specific welcome page and navigation views that are included in the navigation views of the Practice Configuration shown in Figure 1. Also notice that the custom categories that represent navigation view tabs for the configuration are "packaged" in a parent custom category with "view tabs" in the name. This makes it easy to identify the custom categories that were designed to serve as the navigation views for the configuration.
