Figure 1 is an example of a Slot plug-in. Note the definitions of the work product slots and the inclusion of "_slot" in their names.

Figure 2 takes a closer look at the definition of a work product slot. Notice that the Presentation Name is enclosed in brackets ("[]") and that the Is Work Product Slot check box is checked.

Figure 3 shows how a work product is defined to fulfill a slot. In this example, Artifact: Design fulfills software_design_slot. Notice how sftware_design_slot has been selected in the Slots section.

Figure 4 shows how work product slot fulfillment is published.  The graphic on the left side shows how a work product that fulfills a slot is published. The graphic on the right side shows a fulfilled slot is referenced as an input to a task. Notice how the slot name is displayed in brackets and the actual work product that fulfills the slot is shown below the slot name.
