This guideline provides recommendations on customizing a navigation views for a practice configuration.

Perform the following steps to customize an existing navigation view for a Practice Configuration:

  • If one does not already exist, create a Publish Extends plug-in to contain the customized navigation view.
  • In the Publish Extends plug-in, customize the navigation view. For more information, see Guideline: Customizing a Navigation View.

Once the navigation view has been customized, it is not a bad idea to browse the method configurationof the practice configuration and confirm that the view has been updated properly.
