The Method Authoring Method (MAM) for the EPF Practice Library (EPL) is an architecture-centric, quality-oriented and practice-based approach to method authoring. It provides guidelines for authoring methods that are intended to exist within the EPF Practice Library (EPL). Getting started

If you are new to the Method Authoring Method for the Unified Method Framework, it is best to start with the elements in the Start Here navigation view, specifically the Key Concepts.  From there, you should familiarize yourself with the practice authoring Key Scenarios. Once that is completed, you should be fairly familiar with what is provided in the configuration and you may choose to access the key elements directly from the Key Elements, EPL Guidance and/or the All Elements.

Navigation views

Use the navigation views provided as tabs in the left navigation bar as a starting point for browsing the content. Specifically:

• Start Here view: Provides a starting point for first time users, no matter what their role. To access, click here: Start Here.
• Key Elements view: Provides quick access to the key method authoring elements, organized by type. To access, click here: Key Elements.
• EPL Guidance view: Provides quick access to the EPL-specific guidance. To access, click here: EPL Guidance.
• All Elements view: Provides access to all elements in the configuration, organized by method element type and then by category. Intended for all users, no matter what their role. To access, click here: All Elements.
