Description:

This extension point is used to provide categories for grid resources (eu.geclipse.core.model.IGridResource). These categories are used within grid projects to organize the available resources in a tree structure. Categories are either top-level categories or sub-categories. In the later case they have a defined parent.

active (true | false) >

id - The unique ID of the resource category.
name - The name of the resource category that will be displayed in the resource tree of a grid project.
parent - The parent category or null if this is a top-level category.
active - Determines if this category is active, i.e. if it is used to query the underlying information service for available resources. If a category is passive it is just a container for sub-categories.
