public class AuthenticationException
extends IdASException

Thrown when an attempt to authenticate has failed. Throwers of this are discouraged to reveal sensitive data pertaining to the failure (such as knowledge of a failed password or invalid user) which would give the caller hints which could be used to launch an attack.
