Log View
The Log View is used for working with an imported log.
Display
Here is an illustration of the Log view and its panes:

There are four panes in the Log view:
- Log Records
- The list of parsed imported records, after filtering. The meaning of
the severity icons is as follows:

- Information
-
- Warning
-
- Error
-

- A symbol with a blue outline around it indicates that the log record has been analyzed
but no matching strings were found in the symptom databases. A symbol
with a blue background indicates that the log record has been analyzed and
a matching string was found in the symptom databases.
- Property - Value
- For a selected item in the log record, displays the properties and their
values. To control the contents of this pane, use the Filter control. To further parse the log record, expand
the record in the Log record pane.
- Details
- Provides further details about the log record.
- Analysis Result
- If the log record has been analyzed and an entry was found in the solution
database, then the solution and directives are displayed here.
Controls
The Log view provides the following controls:
- Sort

- See Filtering and sorting records
- Filter

- Filtering and sorting records
Pop up controls in the Log records pane
- Analyze > Default Log Analyzer
- Analyze a single log record
- Analyze all > Default Log Analyzer
- Analyze the entire log
- Refresh views
- Refresh all the logging views
- Correlation by time
- Interactions are sorted by time.
Pop up controls in the Details and Results panes
- These controls are part of the base Eclipse system.
