Profiling Console view

The Profiling Console view displays output data and error messages from the application that you are profiling. It also accepts your inputs to the application you are profiling.  Here is an example:

Controls

There are two types of controls in the Profiling Console view:

  1. Control from the pane
  2. Editing control inside the view
  3. Pop up controls

Control from the pane

There is just one control available from the Profiling Console's pane.

erase button
Deletes all content from the view.
 

Editing control

You can type, copy, cut, and paste inside the console view.  When you press Enter the material you typed or pasted is input to whatever is being profiled.

Pop up controls

You can also right click for some additional editing controls, as shown below:

Go to Line
Provides a convenient way to jump to a specified line number
Clear View
Deletes all content from the view.
