Analyzing performance and memory usage

The Profiling Tool offers various profiling scenarios, including:

• Viewing performance bottlenecks
• Identifying memory-intensive classes

In general, to analyze the performance of your Java process, the general workflow consists of: 

1. Identify what to profile and the scope at which to profile it (that is, at the process, agent, host, or monitor level).
2. Set up the profiling filters to collect only relevant data.  
3. Start the profiling and specify the options.
4. View the profiling results.
