Log Thread Interactions view

You can use thread interaction diagrams to view interactions among log events (records) that occur on different threads, which participate in the execution of an application.

Viewing log thread interactions from the monitor level is useful when we want do display interactions on the thread level between logs that are imported from different hosts. The thread value is extracted from each log record that is contained in the log. For details, see the ComponentIdentification description in the Common Base Event model description section. (Every log record contains a component identification element that holds the thread value.)

The Log Thread Interactions view provides information on how log records are correlated, and this information may be of value to application administrators.

The Log Thread Interactions view displays correlations between instances of log records on different threads. Interactions could happen between log records on threads in the same process or on threads across processes and hosts.
