Creating log correlations
To create log correlations:
- Select one or more log agents in the Log Navigator view and do one of
the following:
- Right-click then select New > Log Correlation > Profiling and Logging
> Log Correlation and then click Next .
- Select one or
more log agents in the Log Navigator and click on the New Log Correlation
toolbar button (see screen capture 1) to launch the New Log Correlation
wizard.
- Right-click in the Log Navigator view on the Correlations
folder and select New >Log Correlation.

The New Log Correlation
wizard opens.
- Type in the name of the correlation (for convenience a default name is
already provided).
- From the list of available log files, select the log files to correlate
by using the arrow buttons. By default, the log files selected in the log
navigator are used to populate the list of log files to correlate.

- Click Next and select the correlation method used to correlate the logs and then click
Finish. A new correlation will be created and displayed in the Log
Navigator under the Correlations folder.
