Defining locations

To define a location for the host to be used to execute a test suite, you must first create a deployment:

1. Select File > New > Other > Test Elements.
2. Select Deployment from the right pane and click Next.
3. Enter or select the parent folder for the deployment and provide a name for the deployment.
4. (Optional) Provide a description for the deployment.
5. Click Finish. The Deployment view shows the newly created deployment.
6. Under the Locations heading, click More.
7. Click Add to define a location.
8. Enter the location name, description, and the host name of the location.
9. Click Save on the File menu.

In order to execute the test suite, you must install and start the Agent Controller on the host. For more information on running the Agent Controller, see Administering the Agent Controller.
