Mobile runtimes

Mobile runtime can be an actual device or an emulator. Each SDK can contain one or more emulators. The desired runtime is selected from the mobile SD, which acts as the device platform in MTJ. In MTJ, you first select the desired device platform from various mobile SDKs. For each project, you must select a mobile runtime, which is the runtime platform (emulator or the actual device) used in the project.. The emulator specific plug-in (the selected runtime) uses the MTJ generic API.

The mobile runtime is defined in project creation, but you can also change it later in project's properties or in MTJ preferences.
