Preferences
In MTJ, user preferences are defined in the Preferences window. In Preferences,
you can configure both Eclipse- and MTJ-specific settings. These settings
include the following:
- General
This includes the general Eclipse appearance, and the look and feel
of the editors.
- Ant
This includes the general and ant editor settings.
- Help
Here you can specify how the help information is displayed.
- Install/Update
Here you can configure the installation and define the possible Eclipse
update procedures.
- Java
Here you can define the Java settings, for example the Java compiler
properties.
- MTJ
This includes configuring the deployment providers, device platforms,
security management plug-ins and signing provider plug-ins.
- Plug-in Development
Here you can configure the manifest compilers, common PDE editor settings
and the target platform.
- Run/Debug
Here you can settings for running applications and debugging.
- Team
Here you can configure version management settings, including the CVS
preferences.
To access Preferences, in the menu bar, select Window
-> Preferences. The figure below illustrates the Preferences
window, with the MTJ Preferences as highlighted.
