Adding mobile SDKs

You can add SDKs in the MTJ preferences.

To add an SDK to MTJ

Make sure the SDK you want to add to MTJ is installed in your computer.

1. In the menu bar, select Window -> Preferences.
   The Preferences window opens.
2. In the Preferences window, in the left-side pane, expand MTJ and select Device Platform.
   The Device Platform pane opens on the right side.
   
   
3. Select Add.
   The Add Mobile Device Platform window opens.
   
4. In the Platform Provider drop-down menu, select the desired SDK type.
5. In the Location directory field, do one of the following:
   • Enter the file path for the mobile SDK.

• select Browse, select the root directory in the Browse for Folder window and click OK.

6. In the Add Mobile Device Platform window’s Device Platforms field, specify which mobile runtimes from the selected SDK you want to include in this configuration. The available mobile runtimes depend on the selected SDK.
7. Click OK.
   The selected mobile SDK is added to the Device Platforms list in the Preferences window. This mobile SDK is now available for your MTJ projects.

Tip: When you highlight a mobile SDK in the Device Platform list, the selected devices for that particular configuration of the SDK are displayed in the devices list. Highlight a device from the Devices list and select Info to display the Device window. In this window, you can view and edit the device settings, such as the Java ME profile and configuration.
