Selecting providers

In order to create functional applications, you need to select and configure different providers. These providers include:

• General MTJ frameworks and providers
  These are the general MTJ plug-ins that are provided with the MTJ release.
• Deployment providers
  These are the tools that MTJ uses to deploy the applications to mobile devices.
• Device platforms
  These are the actual mobile SDKs, from which you choose the desired one for your project.
• Security management plug-ins
  These are the key tools that handle the keys and certificates.
• Signing provider plug-ins
  These are the application signing tools.

Providers are selected and configured in MTJ preferences.

Note: MTJ does not include other providers besides the general MTJ frameworks and providers. For deployment tools and mobile SDKs, refer to the companies that provide them. For example, if you plan to create applications for Nokia, refer to their website for the SDKs and deployment tools. For key tools and signers, refer to Managing security.
