Preferences
User preferences are defined in the Preferences window. In Preferences,
you can configure both Eclipse- and MTJ-specific settings. These settings
include the following:
- General
This includes the general Eclipse appearance, and the look and feel
of the editors.
- Ant
This includes the general and ant editor settings.
- Help
This includes how to specify how the help information is displayed.
- Install/Update
This includes the configuring
of the installation and defining the possible Eclipse update procedures.
- Java
This includes defining the Java settings, for example the Java compiler
properties.
- MTJ
This includes configuring the deployment providers, device platforms,
security management plug-ins and Signing Provider plug-ins.
- Plug-in Development
This includes configuring the manifest compilers, common PDE editor
settings and the target platform.
- Run/Debug
This includes the configuration of settings for running applications
and debugging.
- Team
This includes configuring the version management settings, including
the CVS preferences.
To access Preferences, in the menu bar, select Window
-> Preferences. The figure below illustrates the Preferences
window, where the MTJ preferences have been selected.
