Running applications

Note: A successful build is a prerequisite for successful running of the application.

1. In the Java perspective, in the menu bar select Run > Run.
   The Run window opens.

2. In the Run window, in the Configurations field, select MTJ Application and click New.
   In the Configurations field, New configuration (1) appears under MTJ Application.
   
   

3. On the right-side pane , you can:

• In the Name field, enter a new name for the run configuration.
• In the Executable tab, you can define the project and the executable (JAR) file.
• In the Target Device tab, you can, if necessary, select other than the project's default target device and the security domain. Here you can also change the JRE.
4. Click Run.
   The chosen emulator starts with the selected application.
