The Preference Store Manager view allows administrators to monitor preferences changed by any user for Stardust Portal and Stardust engine. By default, no preferences are displayed. Whenever the user changes and saves any preference in Stardust Portal, e. g. via Portal Configuration, the Preference Store Manager displays all the preferences for that view. For example, the user clears the check box Close Related Views for the Activity Panel setting from the Portal Configuration view. The Preference Store Manager displays all the preferences for the Portal Configuration view. Thus, the Administrator can use the Preference Store Manager view as a tool to investigate and debug issues related to the preference store and to provide more visibility on current preferences.
