Introduction to the Infinity Service Bus

The Infinity Service Bus (ISB) is the product of SunGard Financial Systems to support integration tasks for SunGard Segments as part of the SunGard Financial Systems Macro Architecture.

It will help SunGard to

• expose Segment legacy product functionality
  • for integration with other SunGard components and
  • client environments and value chains,
• minimize cost, risk and time-to-market accordingly
• maximize the efficiency of professional services work in integration projects at clients.
  

It combines technical components such as

• Apache Camel and
• Stardust (Stardust)

Reference Use Cases exist as a best practices, e.g.

• Message Processing and content-based routing,
• Data Extraction and Transformation,
• Text Processing, in particular processing of host file dumps

to show how ISB concepts and features are used to satisfy concrete integration requirements.
