Monitoring Stranded Activities
The Stranded Activities view, which can be accessed via the Business Control Center
perspective launch panel, displays
activities and default case activities that are stranded because their performers
have been invalidated, for example like in the following cases:
- a user has a worklist and has been invalidated afterwards by
an administrator.
Refer to section
Invalidating Users
of chapter Creating and Editing User Accounts
for detailed information about invalidating users.
- a conditional performer results in a participant that is already invalidated.
Note that this behavior can be configured via the property
Infinity.Engine.Activity.AssignToInvalidUser, which you can
set in your carnot.properties file.
If set to true, activities assigned to an invalid user are listed in the Stranded Activities view.
If set to false, an exception occurs in that case, which is the default behavior.
- an activity instance is delegated via API to an invalidated user.
