Viewing the Link Type during Activity Execution

In the Activity execution view of the Workflow Execution Perspective, you can view the process instances linked to the in-scope process by link type under the Linked Processes icon. Possible link types are the following:

• In case the process was aborted and started and the target process is not an instance of the source process:
  • Switched To - link type for source process instance
  • Switched From - link type for target process instance
• In case the process was aborted and started and the target process is an instance of the source process:
  • Migrated To - link type for source process instance
  • Migrated From - link type for target process instance
• In case the process is aborted and joined:
  • Joined To - link type for source process instance
  • Joined From - link type for target process instance

To view the linked process instance, click the Linked Processes icon in the toolbar.

The linked process gets displayed with its link type.
