Importing a Tigerstripe Project

As for any Eclipse project, it is possible to import an existing Tigerstripe Project into your current workspace. The Tigerstripe Project that you want to import may be either a copy of the original Tigerstripe Project or an archived copy (.zip file) of the original project. If you want to import a Tigerstripe Project from CVS please refer to Tigerstripe Source Control Integration.

Before you Begin, make sure your Tigerstripe Perspective is active. Complete the following procedure to import a Tigerstripe Project.

To import a Tigerstripe Project

Right-click in the Tigerstripe Explorer and select import. The following Import wizard displays:
Click General and select Existing project into Workspace from the Select an import source list.
Click Next. The following wizard displays:
If the project to import is a copy of the original project in a specific directory, select Select root directory and click Browse to browse to the root of the project directory to import.

If the project to import is an archived copy (.zip file) of the original project, select Select archive file and click Browse to browse to the target archive file.
If you selected a valid Tigerstripe Project, the Finish button is enabled. Click Finish to import the project.

Upon successful completion, the newly imported project appears in the Tigerstripe Explorer. If the project does not appear, check that the project imported contains all files of the original Tigerstripe Project.
